The more I read about historical figures, the more it’s apparent that kinks and fetishes are not something specially reserved for the 21st century.  Afterall, chastity belts have been around for many centuries, actors in the Roman theatre often wore gigantic phalluses for comic effect (read: STRAP-ONS!).  And have your read 120 Days of Sodom?  Those french aristocrats are FREAKS!

Shi Pei Pu:  A male opera singer, a spy for the Chinese government during the Cultural Revolution, Shi Pei Pu didn’t just get information out of French diplomat Bernard Boursiot, he got a twenty year relationship out of him and became his bride.  Talk about passable!

King Henry III: He knew it was much more fun to be QUEEN!  He insisted on being treated like a lady and was referred to as “Her Majesty.”  Don’t make this bitch mad!
