That’s why yesterday, after accepting an [...]]]> We live in an age of instant gratification.  It’s been said time and time again.  The advances in technology are miraculous–but it also makes us insatiable.  We want everything and we want it right now.  But too often we miss a lot in the process of gettting everything  right now.

That’s why yesterday, after accepting an invite to a dinner party on the other side of town, I decided to walk the 5.2 miles to get there.  What would have been a short car ride was an hour an a half walk–and I was able to see and absorb a million little details I normally would have missed–names carved into the sidewalk, pretty tree-lined streets that are just beginning to bloom with flowers, even the garbage and graffiti took on a certain beauty, as I was able to see up close and personal the way this city evolves and changes from neighborhood to neighborhood.  I felt intimate with the city.

And it made me think of you, my pets.  The art of fantasy has turned to instant gratification like so much vulgar reality tv.  But that isn’t what I do, and I’m pleased as punch that it isn’t what you want either.  You want to explore things in depth.  When you’re worshipping my body, the arches of my feet are every bit as important as the curvature of my ass–and you know that my ass is that much sweeter having explored the rest of my body to get there.  When I’m teasing you’re cock, the anticipation builds to the greatest of heights if I pay attention to the details–your hip bones, your upper thigh–before I reach my final destination.  And even when I’m dominating you–I don’t just want to dominate your body.  I first need to dominate your mind and your soul.

Detours aren’t an inconvenience in this age of instant gratification.  It’s an adventure.
